The Arsenal midfielder has been sounded out by the German
champions, although no official offer for the Chilean has been made
Bayern Munich are interested in luring Alexis Sanchez from Arsenal this
summer, according toThe
Daily Mirror.
The report claims that the German champions have made ‘discreet enquiries’ about the potential availability of the Chile international, who joined the Gunners in a £35 million deal in 2014.
Arsenal want Sanchez to sign a new contract, with the 27-year-old’s current deal, worth £130,000 a week, expiring in 2018 but Bayern’s interest could complicate negotiations.
The Gunners are also close to securing the signing of Borussia Monchengladbach midfielder Granit Xhaka.
