While it's true that Microsoft's Windows line
of Operating Systems dominates PCs, things aren't that bright when it comes to
smartphones. Windows Phone has struggled with problems like little market share
and lack of apps ever since it was launched in 2010, and these issues continue
to persist even with the latest iteration of the mobile operating system,
Windows 10 Mobile.
Many tech bloggers and industry analysts have been saying that Microsoft's efforts in the mobile space (both hardware and software) aren't going anywhere, and it's about time that the company just killed it altogether.
